Bhaskar Kuppusamy as a Co-Founder, and information management service provider at Aikya.
Over the last 15+ years, Bhaskar has performed in several data management roles including that of data quality specialist, data governance subject matter expert, master data management lead, data architect, business intelligence solution architect, database programmer, and project leadsupporting various business initiatives including Basel compliance, Data integration, MDM/DW-BI implementations, and business transformations.
Bhaskar is a a former senior consultant from Big 4 firms, and has successfully delivered several critical projects for Fortune 100 clients in dynamic, past paced, and demanding environments.
Bhaskar is a certified Basel III professional. He has a bachelor’s in Physics and Masters’ in Computer Science from University of Mumbai. Bhaskar continues to undergo executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Carnegie Mellon University. Bhaskar also serves as a Board member for Fairfax County's Information Technology Policy Advisory Council.
Michele Koch is the Director of Enterprise Data Management and the Data Governance Office at Sallie Mae, the leading “saving, planning, and paying for education” company in the US.
Michele was responsible for the successful design and implementation of the enterprise Data Governance and Data Quality Programs at Sallie Mae. Their Data Governance Program won The Data Warehouse Institute’s (TDWI) 2010 Best Practices Award for the Data Governance category and the 2011 Data Governance Best Practice Award. She is also responsible for the data modeling team who provides support to development teams and the business user community.
Her 32 years of experience include applying structured analysis and design methods for process and data modeling, managing client/server and mainframe DBAs, and consulting at Fortune 500 companies.
Michele received dual masters’ degrees in MIS and Computer Systems Applications from The American University and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
